The Space
About the space
A white room in Daimyo that changes its face with the light.
Under a sloping ceiling, the floor is polished white. The beds sit on a low platform, with indirect light running thin along its edge. A mirror-clad low table takes in the floor, and the room with it.
The colour of the lighting can be set as you like. A room that was all white by day puts on amber or purple at night and shows another face. At the back of the shower room, one wall alone is marble-look: an accent within the white.
In the middle of the city, and yet back in the room there is only white and light. Shopping and meals are done outside; here you stay unencumbered. A room for walking Daimyo.
