About the space

A three-storey house, black inside and out.

The living room is a black floor with white walls. A stone-patterned round table sits by the large window, ringed by grey sofas. In the kitchen, even the refrigerator and the shelving are black.

Up the black stairs, bedrooms set against deep wood grain. Wall lamps light the headboards. Outside the top floor, a balcony with frosted-glass railings. Only the bathroom switches to white and wood.

Seen from the street, the exterior is the same black as the inside. The floors for sleeping and the floor for gathering are separate, so a large party need not keep to one rhythm. Out into town by day, back to the black house at night.
