The living room has dark flooring, an unbleached sofa and a wooden table. Windows face two directions, and at the ceiling a small gold chandelier catches the light.
In the tatami room, a low chair and a soft standing light. At the bedside in the bedroom hangs a lamp of amber glass. The shape of the light differs from room to room.
Outside the windows is not a neighbour's wall but the streets and the sky. A day spent walking ends with hot water run into the indigo tub. Close to the city, a home where the days pass at the pace of a house.
