The Space

About the space

A house in Dazaifu, with a tatami room.

Under a wood-grain ceiling, the sofa and the dining table stand side by side. There is room enough for a large group to gather without feeling cramped, and the ground floor is arranged around this room.

There are four bedrooms, each built differently. One opens onto the balcony, one has a dressing table, one has two double beds side by side. The last is a tatami room, where futons are laid out on the mats.

It sits in a residential area a little away from the bustle of the shrine approach, and the nights are quiet. Out into town during the day, back to rest on the tatami. A house for spending a few days in Dazaifu.
